Potter asked: “How did you react to baby-sitters as a child?”
Harris replied, “I remember protesting. And I had an older brother to play with. It wasn’t like I was being left on some deserted island. I particularly remember my grandmother [who baby-sat]. We would cook, and she would dance with my brother and me. We had lots of fun. But I do remember the protest. Potter also commented, “As a grandmother, you must be doing some baby-sitting these days.” Harris responded, “Yes. I have a good time! I find young children absolutely fascinating. There’s always that moment when kids wish their parents would stay – and then there’s that moment when they’re pretty pleased they’re going.”
